Greetings,
The riding season is starting to go into full swing. How much riding have you been able to do so far? Take advantage of the planned rides and other events to make a fun summer.
Upcoming Chapter Events:
May 5 – Social at Van Beek’s at 4:00 p.m. Bring a dessert. Plan on a ride at 1:30.
May 14 – Food Run to Coaches Corner, N140 Eisenhower Dr. Appleton 6:00 p.m.
May 28 – Ice Cream Run at 6:30 p.m. Meet at Mike’s Cycle, 1114 Valley Rd., Menasha

A few words from our Chapter Educator, Greg Meath:
OK folks, here we are with the beginning of a new season. We have a few new toys for the bike, a new set of boots, maybe even a new set of rubber. But what about our skills? I've put a few miles on this year and realized how rusty I've become. Think about doing some practice in a parking lot or somewhere safe. Try a few quick stops, a few slow swerves to miss an imaginary piece of road trash. Do a couple slow speed maneuvers. Take it easy and just do a little practice. Critique yourself and practice until you are more comfortable. I think you will feel more prepared and ready to ride. How about it?
